Hazardous waste
We prioritise suppliers that have concluded a licence agreement with Austria’s non-profit waste recycling organisation ARA, thereby ensuring that packaging will be recycled.
On the basis of the described separation measures alone, we have succeeded in reducing the quantity of waste that ends up in landfill by 60% compared with 2005, despite the continuing growth of the business. Thanks to the acquisition of a compression container, we are now also able to reduce the disposal frequency. We regard the sorting of waste as a vital part of our environmental efforts, but we have recognised that the avoidance of waste should be considered just as important, if not more so. |
